General Guidelines and Information

Responsibilities

  • When renting a vehicle from eMan Car Rental, you acknowledge that the chosen vehicle is provided to you in good working condition. You also understand that it’s your responsibility to return the vehicle in the same condition, including all accessories, at the end of the rental period.
  • eMan Car Rental retains the right to recall a vehicle at any time if you violate our terms and conditions.
  • Please note that we cannot be held accountable for any loss of personal belongings during the rental period.
  • eMan Car Rental reserves the right to modify its terms and conditions without prior notice to any parties.

Geographical Limits

Vehicles rented from eMan Car Rental are only allowed to be driven within the geographical boundaries of the United Arab Emirates.
  • Mileage Allowance
  • Daily/ Weekly Rentals
  • For daily rentals, mileage allowance starting from 200KM per day. Any excess mileage will incur a charge as per the vehicle type.
  • Monthly Rentals
  • For monthly rentals, the mileage allowance is starting from 5,000KM per month. Any mileage exceeding this will be charged as per the vehicle type.

Fuel Policy

When returning the vehicle at the end of the rental period, it must have the same fuel level as when rented. If the fuel level is significantly lower, fuel charges may apply.

Vehicle Damage and Care

  • You are responsible for maintaining proper tire inflation at all times.
  • Ensure that the vehicle and its instruments are not damaged or tampered with.
  • Maintain a good standard of cleanliness inside the vehicle.
  • Using third-party repair services is not allowed and may result in penalties.
  • In case of damage or accident, contact the Police (999) and eMan Car Rental (+971 55 216 8345/ +971 04 325 1111). Obtain a police report for any damage during your rental.

Rental Period & Return Policy

  • Rental charges are on a 24-hour basis.
  • A grace period of 2 hours is allowed on the return date. Beyond this, a full day’s charge will apply.
  • For pick-up service on the return date (in Dubai), inform eMan Car Rental at least 4 hours in advance. For other emirates, inform us at least 24 hours in advance.

Payments & Other Charges

Security Deposit

  • A security deposit is required before you receive the vehicle. The deposit amount varies based on the vehicle category.
  • The deposit is held for 21 working calendar days after the check-in date to cover any fines or Salik charges.

Salik

  • An exclusive of 5% VAT and company surcharge of AED 5 per Salik crossing will be charged.
  • Salik crossing rates may change without prior notice.
  • A 5% VAT charge applies to eMan Car Rental’s service fee.

Fines

  • You are responsible for any fines incurred during your rental.
  • An AED 20 acknowledgment fee plus 10% service charge applies for fines.
  • Fines under AED 200 incur a minimum service charge of AED 20.

Service/ Maintenance

  • Periodical servicing fees are included in rental fees.
  • First servicing at 1000KM, followed by servicing every 10,000KM.
  • Notify eMan Car Rental at least 2 days before the next servicing.
  • In case of vehicle breakdown, we provide a replacement car.
  • You are responsible for tire puncture repair and related costs.
  • Promptly report mechanical damage or failure to eMan Car Rental.
  • Service guidelines will be communicated by our rental office.

Additional Driver

A fee of AED 100 applies for each additional driver.

Insurance

  • Our vehicles are insured for paved roads within the UAE only.
  • In case of total loss due to an accident, additional charges apply based on the vehicle’s age.
  • For damage, obtain a police report; otherwise, you’re accountable for repair costs.
  • Insurance doesn’t cover windshields, tires, wheels, tools, and wheel cap damage.

Legal Matters

Age

Minimum age for hirers is 25. Insurance of 70% will cover for hirers age between 22 to 25.

Impounding

You’ll be liable for impound charges and rental loss if the vehicle is impounded. Park safely, lock doors, and avoid any damage or loss. You’re responsible for any damage or lost keys.

Online Booking – Terms & Conditions

Booking Process

  • Select criteria on the online booking form, including rental dates and vehicle choice.
  • We provide offers based on your criteria, and you select an offer.
  • Confirm your choice, fill customer details, and accept terms and conditions.
  • Make payment.
  • We send a confirmation email with reservation details.

Confirmation Email

  • After completing all steps, you’ll receive a final confirmation email.
  • This email includes service terms & conditions.

Booking Details

  • Same-day bookings accepted up to 3 hours in advance. Bookings up to 24 months ahead are also accepted.
  • Minimum rental is 1 day. Early returns are still charged a full day rate.
  • Maximum rental is 24 months for a single vehicle.
  • Rates include mandatory charges, VAT, applicable tax, mileage, and selected insurance coverage.

Payment

  • Payment options include Book and Pay Now (prepayment) and Book and Pay at Station.
  • Prepaid rates available online.
  • Full payment required at booking for prepaid option.
  • Credit and debit cards accepted (Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Visa Electron).

Deposit

  • A deposit is required for vehicle security.
  • Deposit amount varies by vehicle category.
  • Deposits refunded within 21 working days after vehicle return.
  • All payments must be cleared at check-in.

Reservation Guarantee

  • We provide a guaranteed period for vehicle delivery, subject to meeting requirements.
  • If no credit card details are provided, a one-hour guarantee applies.
  • Reservation is a No-Show after operating hours end.
  • Alternatives offered if the chosen vehicle is unavailable.

General Terms & Conditions

  • Tourist hirers must change their foreign license to UAE license after obtaining residency.
  • No liability coverage for accidents under alcohol or narcotics influence.
  • Only authorized drivers listed on the contract can drive the vehicle.
  • No tinting or unauthorized stickers allowed; penalties apply.
  • Billing disputes: billing@emanrental.com.

  • No cash refundable.

Delivery & Shipping Policy
