You are eligible to rent a car across the emirates provided you have the below mentioned documents valid with you:

Resident and UAE Nationals

  1. Copy of Valid UAE Driving
  2. License Copy of Emirates
  3. ID Passport Copy (Only for Residents)

Foreign Visitors

  1. Passport Copy
  2. Visa Copy
  3. Valid Home Country Driving License
  4. International Driving Permit (IDP)

Note:

Visitors from the GCC, US, UK, Canada, Europe and some other countries can drive with their home country driving license, without the International Driving Permit (IDP).
